Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" within the framework of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" has completed a humanitarian mission in Zaporizhzhia.

With the organizational support of the Pryazovske territorial community and in coordination with the NGO "Nataliya Levina Foundation", hygiene kits were distributed to nearly 500 families with children from among internally displaced persons. The aid was urgently needed and proved to be relevant for families who were forced to leave their homes due to russian military aggression and were looking for shelter and opportunities to meet their basic needs, including food and hygiene products. Among the recipients of the aid were, in particular, large families and people with disabilities.

As a reminder, during the previous spring months alone, the Committee, as part of the aforementioned project, provided assistance to medical institutions in several communities in the Kherson, Zakarpattia, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, and also provided 1,000 families in the Kherson region with food kits

The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
