Throughout February, the Charitable Organization «Charity Fund «Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya» together with its partners responded to several dozen requests from healthcare institutions and volunteer communities that care for hospitals in the regions. As a result, humanitarian and charitable aid shipments were delivered to medical facilities in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Poltava, and Kirovohrad regions. In particular, this includes relocated medical facilities from frontline and temporarily occupied settlements of Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions, which are restoring their capacity and building up their material and resource base.
The list of closed requests includes medicines, medical equipment and household appliances, large batches of consumables (primarily bandages), seasonal vitamins, hygiene and disinfection products, food, blankets, etc. In addition, charging stations of various capacities have been sent to the Kherson and Kharkiv regions to strengthen the energy independence of healthcare facilities.
With the support of the organization «terre des hommes Deutschland e.V.» and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya continues to implement the medical component of the project project «Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support.» During February, shipments of charitable aid were delivered to hospitals in the Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. Medicines, consumables, and medical equipment were donated to three paramedic and obstetric stations in the Kherson region, three central district hospitals in the Kharkiv region, and a regional specialized hospital in the Chernihiv region.
