During the week, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya donated a pickup truck, two SUVs, and a quad bike to several military units serving in the Kherson and Donetsk regions.

This important assistance was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Committee’s partners – Association SAFE (France). High-mobility vehicles remain one of the most essential machines in the combat zone due to their mobility, speed, and versatility in performing critical tasks that directly impact defense effectiveness and save lives. Off-road vehicles are fast, mobile platforms for evacuating the wounded and delivering medical aid, ammunition, equipment, drones, and food. Their off-road capabilities allow them to reach places where other vehicles cannot operate, especially after shelling, when roads are damaged or blocked. 

As a reminder, in August, with the support of French partners, the organization already donated a large batch of vehicles to the front line, in September – two more ambulances and an excavator, and in November – special vehicles for firefighters. We thank our friends from France for their prompt response to important requests, the fulfillment of which saves the lives of both military personnel and civilians and simplifies the execution of combat tasks and evacuation missions.
