Once again, we donated the equipment to the Zaporizhzhia municipal special paramilitary emergency rescue service "Cobra". The equipment came to Ukraine from France from the partners of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya of the Association SAFE.

The specialized cargo included search and rescue equipment from Sofrad France and Scorpe, including extension cords, heat fans, scissors, tape measures, rails, protective covers for cutting parts, telescopic mounting stands, components, overalls, etc.

The received equipment and peripherals are extremely important for providing timely assistance and rescuing the population, as the region is in close proximity to the frontline.

"Our Zaporizhzhia suffers almost daily from enemy missile attacks and UAVs. The municipal special paramilitary emergency rescue service "COBRA" is guarding the peace and security of the Zaporizhzhia community. The main task of the service is to rescue people in extreme situations during man-made and natural emergencies and to localize these situations", the district administration of the Zaporizhzhia City Council for Oleksandrivskyi district said in a statement.

As a reminder, in 2023, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya already implemented the project "Emergency Aid to Zaporizhzhia Oblast", and with the support of French partners, managed to technically strengthen the region’s medical and rescue workers.
