As part of the medical component of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya sent a large shipment of medical supplies to meet the needs of Pavlohrad City Hospital No. 1, a municipal non-profit enterprise located in the Dnipropetrovsk region. 

The hospital provides medical care to the entire western part of Donbas and comprises neurology, internal medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology departments. According to the healthcare facility, since the beginning of the full-scale armed aggression by the russian federation, the volume of emergency medical care provided to the local population has increased significantly, particularly due to the influx of a large number of internally displaced persons.

To support the hospital and its patients and strengthen the material and technical capacity of this healthcare facility in a frontline settlement, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya purchased and delivered to Pavlohrad modern electrocardiographs, a defibrillator-monitor, a 12-channel Holter monitor with the necessary software, as well as over 50 types of medicines and medical consumables (syringes, gloves, infusion sets, catheters, tourniquets, disinfectant wipes, and other essential supplies).

The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
