Monday, November 4, a training course from a Swiss teacher, trainer, and consultant on existential analysis Anton Wagner began in Uzhhorod on the basis of the Faculty of Health and Physical Education of the Uzhhorod National University.

A Swiss expert heads Special educational school in Biel, and his professional sphere is a correctional pedagogy.

About 30 relevant students of the university in Zakarpattia became Anton Wagner's first students. The group studied and researched the issues of correctional and social pedagogy, crisis phenomena in the team and methods of their overcoming. During the training course, which will last until November 7, students will be told about ways to work in a multidisciplinary team, communication of professionals who work with people with disabilities.

There have been revealed important aspects in the work of future physiotherapists and occupational therapists, taking into account the professional experience of the lecturer and advanced scientific research. It was emphasized that the half of the success of working in a group was to create conditions of comfort and trust within the team. There were the starting points of the training for the Zakarpattia trainees.

We would like to remind you that training projects with the participation of Swiss practitioners became possible in Zakarpattia due to the conclusion of a tripartite agreement on the creation of new educational conditions for future professionals working with people with disabilities. This September an important document was signed by the rector of the UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka, the president of the Association Parasolka in Switzerland Andreas Schmid and the director of the "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattia Natalia Kabatsiy.

Currently, in Uzhhorod, lectures are held by correctional educator Anton Wagner and early intervention specialists Brigitte Bertold and Sylvia Zimmermann.
