As part of the medical component of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya donated a shipment of medical equipment and supplies to the Mahdalynivka Primary Health Care Center of the Mahdalynivka Village Council in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The Mahdalynivka Primary Health Care Center provides primary health care to residents of four territorial communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which have, in particular, taken in a significant number of internally displaced persons.
The shipment consisted of medical supplies, including electrocardiographs, diagnostic kits—oto-ophthalmoscopes for rapid examination of the ear (ear canal) and the fundus of the eye—devices for administering intravenous solutions, syringes, and other items. The aid received will help improve the provision of comprehensive medical services to the population and strengthen the material and technical resources of the facility, which operates under excessive workload.
As a reminder, last month the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya donated medicines and consumables to the regional emergency medical facility in Sumy Oblast.
The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
