This time, specialized charitable assistance within the framework of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" was transferred to the needs of the Municipal Children's Hospital No. 5 of the Zaporizhzhia City Council.

The shipment of medicines and consumables will be useful for a multidisciplinary children's hospital in Zaporizhzhia, which provides all types of specialized medical care for children. The facility provides round-the-clock emergency, surgical, resuscitation, traumatological, otolaryngological, neurological, and pediatric care to children from the first hours of life. Outpatient and polyclinic care is provided in all districts of Zaporizhzhia, with approximately 100,000 little patients visiting the hospital each year.

In order to improve the quality of medical care provided to the child population and improve the conditions of inpatient care, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya purchased medicines and related materials for the hospital in accordance with the list previously received in the request. 

The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
