Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" continues its fruitful cooperation with the French Association SAFE, whose team has sent more than 330 trucks with humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale russian-Ukrainian war.
During September, the Committee received 12 large humanitarian shipments from France, including four vehicles – two ambulances, an excavator, and an evacuation vehicle – which have already been handed over to military units and medical personnel. In addition, medical supplies, disinfectants and hygiene products, medical equipment, and hospital furniture were delivered to meet the needs of military and civilian medical personnel.
To support the Defense Forces, anti-drone nets, car parts, building materials, food, hygiene products, and other supplies were once again delivered to various locations.
September was also marked by meeting SAFE volunteers Caroline Faivre and Alistair Whatmore, who delivered an ambulance for the military to Ukraine and helped transport an ambulance for a frontline medical facility to the Dnipropetrovsk region. It was an experience of extremely effective cooperation.
Thanks to the assistance and logistical support provided by partners in the regions, food, children’s clothing, household items, and hygiene products were delivered to social institutions, families from vulnerable groups, and residents of frontline settlements.
In total, more than a hundred targeted parcels were sent from the Committee’s warehouse in September, delivered to recipients by partners from Nova Poshta. In addition, on the day when our team unloaded two French humanitarian cargoes in Uzhhorod, we managed to send a whole truckload of aid to the Kyiv region, from where volunteers from the NGO "Centre for Partnership and Innovations "Synergy" delivered everything necessary to military hospitals in three regions, military units in the Sumy direction, and social institutions. This is how well-established communication works, overcoming distances and borders, all in order to support those who suffer most from russian military aggression and those who defend Ukraine from daily enemy attacks.
We thank our partners and all SAFE donors for their understanding, efficiency, and the strength of the humanitarian bridge between France and Ukraine.
