Recently, specialized medical cargo was donated to the Novhorod-Siverskyi Central City Hospital named after I.V. Buyalskyi, a municipal non-profit enterprise of the Novhorod-Siverskyi City Council in the Chernihiv region.
Assistance to the medical facility was made possible thanks to the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", which is being implemented by the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
This time, in accordance with the request received, the Committee provided the medical institution with gynecological instruments, tonometers, a patient monitor with a children’s cuff, a neonatal device for circular phototherapy, and a high-frequency electrosurgical coagulator.
The municipal non-profit enterprise "Novhorod-Siverskyi Central City Hospital named after I.V. Buyalskyi" provides specialized outpatient, inpatient, and emergency medical care, including diagnostic examinations, 24/7. The facility is designated as a cluster hospital within the capable network of healthcare facilities in the Chernihiv region. During the first half of 2025, doctors from the polyclinic department provided assistance in response to 30,750 requests from citizens.
At the same time, the Novhorod-Siverskyi territorial community, which comprises 85 settlements, is a border community and is included in the List of territories where active hostilities are taking place, as it borders the aggressor state and is subject to constant shelling.
