1-3 July 2019, the team of the Early Intervention Unit of the Social Abilitation and Rehabilitation Centre "Parasolka" visited training workshops from colleagues from Switzerland and under the guidance of the project coordinator Lesja Levko.

Silvia Zimmermann is a physical therapist and special education teacher with early structure and Brigitte Berthold is a physical therapist and Bobath therapist. They have shared with the team of the Centre "Parasolka" practical and virtual methods of work with children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families.

Although the team from Tyachiv is still very young, the Swiss specialists have noted the great potential and motivation of the team to improve its work.

Currently, the Czech volunteer-physiotherapist Kateryna Shevchykova, who has been working for two years at the Vilshany Orphanage, was recruited to engage the activities of the department on a volunteer basis. 2-3 times a month she will consult with the Unit and teach colleagues modern methods of physiotherapy.
