As part of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" distributed hygiene kits to families with children affected by the russian-Ukrainian war.
This time, activities continued in the Kirovohrad and Kharkiv regions. In the city of Oleksandriya, residents of a shelter for internally displaced persons received assistance. In the Kharkiv region, the beneficiaries were residents of border settlements, including IDPs who had returned home after displacement. In total, about 400 families from vulnerable groups received hygiene kits.
Thanks to the organizational support of volunteer Kira Lisman, with whom CAMZ has been cooperating for a long time within the framework of a partnership agreement, we were once again able to reach the frontline border area. In difficult security conditions, people continue to live there, struggling even to meet their basic needs. This is due to constant shelling and the lack of stable access to grocery stores, pharmacies, mobile communications, and other services. Therefore, the Committee, together with its partners, continues to care for this category of citizens.
Previously, humanitarian aid in the form of food and non-food kits was received by IDPs in the Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
