Committee teaches! It is one of our tasks - we like studying and always encourage others towards studies. And, as a rule, we support those, who grope for knowledge!
Six specialist from Switzerland arrived to Vilshany Children's Orphanage during the second week of May: Brigitte Berthold, Claudia Leu, Silvia Zimmermann and Livio Arioli - physical therapists, Susanna Berner – speech therapist, expert on supported communication. Our inevitable Henny Graf, special education teacher with high experience in Switzerland as well as in Ukraine, motivated the specialists to come to Ukraine.
In the course of the week they work with the children and staff. There were many questions and discussions. Health workers of Vilshany Children's Orphanage got acquainted in practical terms with new methods and concepts of work. Certainly, there is a lack of specialist in the establishment, but it is pleasant to see the staff readiness to cooperation and training.
