The Buechehof Centre (http://www.buechehof.ch/) is a long-term partner of CAMZ in the framework of the project "Parasolka". Being in Switzerland, we could not stop here. It is a center of social therapy for adults with disabilities, which was opened in 1987.

Its goal is to support and develop the clients providing them with work and employment. 34 persons reside in the Center and besides them the same number comes to the Center to work from home or other groups to stay. The adults requiring an escort have an opportunity to live and work in the institution as long as it makes sense for all concerned.

An important approach in Buechehof is to develop own capabilities. It is believed that a person with disabilities should also be able to shape his/her own development. The purpose of daily work is to create conditions and develop methods that improve the quality of people's life that trust institutions. Work here is combined with therapy.

The working areas at Buechehof are part of the overall socio-therapeutic task. The main type of employment consists of four working areas: agriculture, gardening, household and food. There is a small shop on the territory of Buechehof, where part of the goods manufactured by the actual inhabitants of the center – these are organic and high quality products.
