Understanding the humanitarian situation in Kherson and knowing about the needs of the local population, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya has purchased a large batch of high-quality drinking water for Kherson residents.

According to the volunteers, the city has problems with access to drinking and even industrial water – in some areas water is supplied without any schedules, in others it all depends on the security situation, because each enemy shelling can mean a complete shutdown of water supply systems. In addition, the water supplied to homes is of poor quality.

The delivered water will be used for the vulnerable population and for preparing hot meals, which are provided daily by the volunteers of the NGO "Iskra Dobra". Read about the hot meals for Kherson residents here.
