On March 14 and 15, Swiss experts and partners of the Charitable Organization "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya", Oswald Hasselmann and Margreet Duetz, will give lectures to students of the Faculty of Health and Physical Education of the Uzhhorod National University. The lecturers will touch upon medical and pedagogical aspects of working with children with developmental disorders in the context of neuropediatrics.

Due to the worsening epidemiological situation, the training module will be held online. However, as early as May, the full-time continuation of the implementation of the educational component regarding early intervention practices is planned.

The integration of foreign experience into the creation of educational conditions for future professionals working with people with disabilities is implemented as part of a joint Ukrainian-Swiss project aimed at creating a sustainable, viable and effective system of training to provide high-quality social and therapeutic services. In addition to the theoretical part, a practical component is also provided, it was already embodied in the industrial practice for students of the "Special Education" and "Physical Therapy. Occupational Therapy" fields of study this year based on the Vilshany Children Orphanage and the Social Abilitation and Rehabilitation Centre Parasolka.
