After the quarantine break in Zakarpattia, the annual meeting of the Presidium of the Parasolka Association was held with the participation of Swiss partners. The members of the presidium along with summing up the results of the current year, forming plans for the next year, and monitoring ongoing projects, visited the Social Abilitation and Rehabilitation Centre "Parasolka", Vilshansky Orphanage, and Transcarpathian Regional Children's Sanatorium «Malyatko".

The areas of joint activities of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattia” will remain unchanged - social and legal protection of citizens, strengthening the rehabilitation and educational components, informing the population, and improving the skills and awareness of specialists involved in helping vulnerable groups. As part of the visit to Zakarpattia, partners from Switzerland held working meetings with the rector of Uzhhorod National University V. Smolanka, head of the Main Directorate of the National Social Service in the Zakarpattia oblast M. Petrishka and head of the regional department of social protection of the population V. Matsola.

To get acquainted with the domestic experience of the functioning of socially responsible enterprises, together with Swiss friends, they visited the Mercy Farm. This is a good example of implementing the progressive traditions of doing business with an emphasis on the social component, adapted to the needs, conditions, and demands of the region.

The week of stay in Zakarpattia turned out to be quite fruitful and eventful for the members of the Parasolka Association. Working meetings alternated with friendly communication with colleagues, inhabitants of social institutions, like-minded people. The year ahead is full of new plans. And, as the past year has shown, the emerging force majeure did not affect the efficiency and productivity of cooperation of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattia with domestic and foreign partners.
